My professional background has focus on STEM education through the use of various technologies.  Having been a teacher and Career & Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator in the New York City Department of Education for over 15 years, I have been able to teach courses in science, engineering and computer science as well as to align our school wide programs of study with current trends in industry and post-secondary education.

My professional background has been grounded in Information  Systems and Technology (networking, security, sysadmin, cloud). After  spending nearly 15 years working in the profession, as both a soldier in the US Army and senior systems administrator in the private sector, I now teach networking, cybersecurity,  cloud computing, and python programming for the New York City  Department of Education as one of the few New York State Education  Department certified cybersecurity career and technical education  teachers.
